We participated in Savor Idaho on June 10th. About 1,000 people tasted wine from 28 Idaho wineries and nibbled on gourmet food prepared by Boise area restaurants. We had the opportunity to dine (at Fork in Boise) with Ben Weinberg prior to the event. Ben is a well traveled wine writer and recommended two of our wines to his blog readers! They just added our 2009 Cab Franc, Merlot, Renaissance Red, and Malbec to their wine list. Tina Poe (chef/owner) tasted our wines the other day and got so excited/inspired she planned a wine pairing dinner with Clearwater Canyon Cellars wines for EVERY course! This is a great stop if you are driving between Missoula Montana and Lewiston. Great food and a compelling wine list ….yup it is a must do…sip Clearwater Canyon Cellars Lochsa at the Lodge after a long day on the Lochsa! Peter Grubb, the owner, is a real wine lover. I took this picture of Peter in front of one of the cabins (COMPLETE WITH HOT TUB). Can you see the wine stains on his teeth?
