   Much of the current dialog in the wine business is largely dominated by a call to change anything and everything we do, to attract more people to wineries. In a world that expects change, it’s easy to believe that it could be in our best interest to do just that. 

    Our journey in winemaking has been one of experimentation, discovery and evolution. For any change to be seriously considered by our team, it must meet at least one core principle: “Does this change improve wine quality, does it improve our team’s quality of life, does it improve customer service?” Change happens often here but never simply to grow our audience.

    Challenging what we do today so that we can do better tomorrow keeps our team’s passion for winemaking alive and well. Clearwater Canyon was never created with the intent of trying to grow as big as we could. Karl and I love making and sharing wine with people who take the time to savor the authenticity of every bottle. Our commitment to what we do here felt less crazy as our incredible team came together around us. There’s no better confirmation of our unwavering commitment to our core principles than the character and credentials of the people working here and you, our Enthusiast Members who continue to savor what we all do!   

     So, buckle up and get ready do drink some incredible wines in the years to come; don’t feel pressured to share them just to grow our audience. You are enough!

Lewiston Spring Release at the Winery

Enthusiast Club members are invited to our seated tasting, April 23rd – 26th, or to our walkabout tasting, April 30th – May 3rd. We will be pouring the six new wines for you, paired with light appetizers by Chef Aaron Jollymore, to sample before choosing your allotment. Any available wines from previous releases are also welcome to be purchased and included in your allotment.

These events are complimentary for Enthusiast Club members (2 people per membership). Guests are welcome at $10/person, which can be charged to the member’s card-on-file when reservations are made.

Seated Tasting
April 23rd – 26th

Coco and Karl will begin each tasting with a brief winery update and introduction to the new wines.  You will then be able to taste and explore the new releases at your leisure. Previously released wines will be available for tasting upon request. Let us know if you’d like to be seated with other members.

Walkabout Tasting
April 30th – May 3rd

Taste through the new wines as you enjoy live music and walk around the cellar, a great opportunity to socialize with the Clearwater Canyon Cellars team and other member-friends. Previously released wines will also be available to taste.

Tastings take 1-2 hours • Reservations available on the hour and half hour
*No tables or chairs reserved. Patio seating may be available, weather permitting*

Select your wines by May 5th!

If we haven’t heard from you by May 5th, no worries! We will select six newly-released wines and save them for you with your credit card on file. Thereafter, you may still customize your allotment by changing or adding to what was selected. We’ll store your wine until you are able to stop by the winery or are ready for us to ship.
