Barrel Tasting In The Cellar!

What an incredible weekend at the winery! From July 10th–12th, we welcomed more than 600 guests for our annual Barrel Tasting, the people, the atmosphere, and the wine make it one of our most memorable events of the year!

Throughout the weekend, members and their guests had the unique opportunity to experience a glimpse into the future of our wines by tasting our Estate Syrah, Carmenère, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Port directly from the barrel. Guests were also able to enjoy our full lineup of previously released wines, comparing current vintages with what is still developing in the cellar. These tastings offered a special behind-the-scenes look at the winemaking process and the evolution of each wine before it reaches the bottle.

The winery was buzzing from start to finish! Friends gathered, new connections were made, and guests explored the cellar and patio enjoying great wine paired with delicious food prepared by Chef Jollymore. Adding to the atmosphere were talented musicians Bennett Barr and Bill Lavoie on Friday evening, followed by Ben Barton on Saturday and Sunday. Their performances provided the perfect soundtrack for a weekend filled with conversation, notes of pepper, and an overall perfect wine experience.

Of course, events like these would not be possible without the incredible dedication of our staff and volunteers. Behind the scenes, our hardworking “Special Ops” team kept everything running smoothly, from pouring wines to welcoming guests and ensuring every detail was taken care of. We were especially excited to welcome back a familiar face many guests recognized—Karen, who previously worked in our tasting room. It was wonderful to have her back for the weekend, and many visitors were delighted to catch up with her once again.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, brought guests, walked out with cases, and helped create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Seeing so many people come together to celebrate wine, community, and the passion that goes into every bottle is what makes this event so special year after year.
